Twitter Vetoes Non-Consensual and Intimate Media in New ‘Terms of Service’ Update

(Digital Marketing Agency) – Popular online short messaging platform Twitter has recently reformed its terms of service, outlawing any sexually explicit media including pictures and footages without the approval of the individuals who are in them.
The publicly update service took place on Wednesday following an excessive criticisms addressing the revenge porn and online harassment that have been increasing recently.
Under the “threats and abuse” section, Twitter added, “users may not post intimate photos or videos that were taken or distributed without the subject’s consent.” For those who do not comply with the firm’s new decree will have their account frozen.
