Facebook
set out new guidelines, in which offers the public with information about what
material is banned on the social network. According to Digital Marketing Agency, “its
revamped community standards now include a separate section on "dangerous organizations"
and give more details about what types of nudity it allows to be posted.”
With
the expectation from US firm, hoping the news guidelines would ensure clarity,
facebook mentioned, nearly 1.4 million people utilized its service at least
once a month. According to Monika Bicket, Facebook's global head of content
policy, the goal of the rewrite is to tackle confusion about why some takedown
requests were rejected.
Mr
Balkam stated "Facebook has done the right thing to place interstitials
themselves once a user has reported an image or extreme content, but my hope is
that they will bring this to ordinary users sooner rather than later."
“However,
facebook recently has tried to find a better mean to address this problem,”
said Ms. Bicket.
