Apple Invests 1.7bn Euros Developing Data Centers in the Republic of Ireland and Denmark

Currently Apple has extended its investment, costing .7bn euros (£1.25bn), in data centers in Republic of Ireland and Denmark. According to Digital Marketing Agency, those centers will serve as Apple’s online music and app stores operations.
Located near Athenry in County Galway and Viborg, central Jutland, the County Galway centre “will be erected on land owned by the state forestry agency in the Republic of Ireland, Coillte,” said reporter. The advantage of this investment is to create job up to 300 people, basically jobs will be in the construction phase.
What make centers cool is it encompassed racks of computer servers and consumes a large amount of power. "It is a very significant investment in the west of Ireland and is fantastic news for Athenry with significant knock-on benefits for the region,” the Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny stated.
