YP Rolls out Cross Device Retargeting to Help National Brands Go Local



Digital Marketing Agency, Formerly known as Yellow Pages, YP has launched a new ad tool called Cross Device Retargeting. The new ad tool is designed to help national brands deliver customized ads based on local search that travel from desktop to mobile.

According to Luke Edson, senior vice president of YP’s national markets group, "That data, that local business search intent, is incredibly valuable. Let’s say a customer starts a search and then moves off through their day. Since people switch devices all the time, [Cross Device Retargeting] is able to serve an ad on their smartphone and tablet after their search."

Tyler Ludwig, product manager for Rio SEO, said: “Cross Device Retargeting has the potential to add as much value to the consumer journey as it does the retailer's. This sounds like a great step in the right direction into bringing a relevant experience to consumers no matter the device."
