(Digital Marketing Agency, thesnsgroup.com)- South
Korean powerhouse Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has finally rolled out its long-awaited
first-generation smartphone powered by its Tizen operating system in India as
the giant company aims to rival Android devices.
Going on sale for 5,700 rupees, the no-nonsense
handset- one of the cheapest in the Samsung stable, which sports a 4-inch
display, a plastic body and a simplified user interface- targets users who look
for their first smartphone.
“The launch is a key step in the company's strategy to
break free from Google's Android platform, which powers Samsung's flagship
Galaxy devices and most other smartphones on the market,” cited Reuter.
