
After cancellation the issue of a Tizen-based smartphones in
Russia and Japan due to needing more apps, Samsung’s smartphones to be powered
by its Tizen operating system are now available in India’s market, according to
Digital Marketing Agency .
The firm said, this newly Tizen –based system provides faster
boot times and long-lasting battery lift than its rivals. In addition, it cost
only 5,700 rupees ($92).
Ben Wood from the telecoms consultancy CCS insight said, “by
using Tizen, Samsung can make its phones very skinny indeed and there are also
battery life advantages versus Android, which we've already seen with its
Tizen-powered smartwatches."
He added that India is set to be a logical the market of this
Tizen because it is such a cost sensitive market. In addition, if this market
is success, there would be sure that this Tizen will bring to other low-coat
markets this year.
However, the huge challenge should be the space for
smartphone in mass market due to Android and Apple’s iOS and other platform are
also struggle to get traction.
