Yahoo Replaces Google with Firefox as Its Default Search Engine

(Digital Marketing Agency, thesnsgroup.com)- Globally famous Yahoo Inc. has now replaced old partner Google with Mozilla’s Firefox as its default search engine on the Firefox Web browser in America, which means that users of the Firefox’s in the country will automatically be routed to search results on Yahoo's website when typing a query into the small box that appears at the top of the browser.

The deal between Yahoo and Mozilla will start in December and is set to last five years as the former wants to boost its flagging search market share.

"It's one of the largest independently-directed search share opportunities available in the market," said Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer.
