Intel Introduces a High-Tech Bracelet, Aiming for Women



(Digital Marketing Agency) – While other electric giants such as Apple and Samsung are striving to create high-tech, wearable watches to match with their smartphones, Intel ironically has also introduced recently its first-time wearable device. However, this is more fashionable and aim for "highly connected women" with a wearable bracelet called - My Intelligent Communication Accessory (MICA).

A cooperated work with Opening Ceremony, the device’s main features include text message, Yelp, Gmail, Facebook events and Google Calendar.

"Our pioneering collaboration with Opening Ceremony and the introduction of this category-defining smart jewelry piece advances wearable technology as a distinctively stylish accessory that places importance on both aesthetics and functionality," said Ayse Ildeniz, VP and general manager for business development and strategy, New Devices Group at Intel.
"MICA captures Intel's philosophy that technology should enhance jewelry in order to make wearable technology truly 'wantable,' in addition to seamless and productive," she added.
The bracelet will be available in the U.S. from early December.
