(Digital Marketing Agency, thesnsgroup.com)- World’s
No. 1 search engine Google Inc. is reportedly planning to launch its Google
Play app store in China, just four years after the company exited the country
following repeated hacking attempts, potential loss of intellectual property
and persistent censorship.
US-based Google last year discussed with the Chinese
government about launching Google Play, yet some of Google's web services
remain blocked in China and the features will not be available in the
foreseeable future.
According to reports, it will be unclear until the
last minute, though, whether the government will actually permit a launch.
However, should Google’s attempt prove successful, it will
give the company access to about half the users of its Android
operating system.
