Youtube Kids App Faces Complaints About Inappropriate Content

YouTube Kids app draws complaints about content due to its inappropriateness. Two child advocacy groups mentioned in their posted video that it would be extremely disturbing for young children to view.
“A complaint, claiming that the groups found links to videos with explicit sexual language, jokes about paedophilia and drug use and adult discussions about violence, pornography and suicide, with the US regulator Federal Trade Commission has been lodged,” according to Digital Marketing Agency. YouTube mentioned that it will remove any inappropriate videos.
A YouTube spokesperson told the BBC, "We work to make the videos in YouTube Kids as family friendly as possible and take feedback very seriously. Note that YouTube Kids was being in the US in February, pledging to provide specially curated video content suitable for children.
