Samsung Releases Gear VR with a Beta Version

(Digital Marketing Agency) – Samsung has finally lifted the curtain about the kickoff of its first virtual-reality headgear. Starting from this week, the Gear VR Innovator Edition is available via AT&T's and Samsung's websites.

Coming with a $199 price tag and acquired only in the US, the device has 17 apps some of which are from its innovator Oculus. The Gear VR utilizes Galaxy Note 4 as its display and brains and still in its early stage of test trial with a beta version.

"Our metric for success is for people to like our product, engage with it and build up daily habits," said Nick
DiCarlo, vice president of immersive products and virtual reality for Samsung. "It's not selling lots and lots of units."
