Barclays Conducting a test of Beacon Tech for the Ease of Branch Entree

(Digital Marketing Agency) – The pioneer of allowing customers to swap money by mobile number and switch security codes for fingerprint scanners, Barclays, a UK bank, proudly announced earlier this week that it will be the latest firm to test Beacon technology called Barclays Access which allow clients an easier access to its branches.

Starting today, the firm is kicking off its trail of the technology. Barclays Access is an iPhone app which allow customers to create their own profiles which will be used every time they want accesses to the buildings without having to answer all the requirements normally conducted to identify them. And since Beacon technology utilizes Bluetooth, it can spot an individual who uses the app and notify workers via the same smart devices.

For those who do not own smartphones, the firm offers high visibility debit cards for a better credentials and customers can access the premises via audio-enabled ATMs.
