Bing and Yahoo Follow Google, Complying with Right to Be Forgotten Rules

Digital Marketing Agency, Bing and Yahoo have begun to conform to European Right to Be Forgotten rules, removing a series of search results.

According to the latest figures from Net Applications, Bing and Yahoo accounted for just more than 12 percent of searches in October between them, while Google had 67 percent. Nevertheless, all EU-based search engines are obliged to comply with the law.

"We’ve begun processing requests as a result of the court’s ruling and in accordance with the guidance from European data protection authorities. While we’re still refining that process, our goal is to strike a satisfactory balance between individual privacy interests and the public’s interest in free expression," explained a statement from Microsoft.
