(Digital Marketing Agency,
thesnsgroup.com) - French technology giant Alcatel-Lucent’s partner Surfline
Communications has now become the first Ghana company to bring 4G data
network to this African country, making it the sixth nation in sub-Saharan
Africa to get the high speed Internet service.
Initially, the service will be
available only in the capital and the nearby port city of Tema, with two-year
time needed to expand it nationwide.
"We want to fill the void by
providing high speed connectivity to facilitate e-education, e-commerce and
facilitate long distance activities especially by people living outside the
cities," said Surfline chairman John Taylor.
