California-based Snapchat Inc., founder of mobile app letting users send
messages that disappear within seconds, is reportedly on the verge of expanding
its services in the form of videos, news articles and advertisements.
According to the Wall Street Journal, talks with
advertisers and media companies about a service called Snapchat Discovery that will
show content and ads to Snapchat users have already held, with the new service
expected to be unveiled in November this year.
To date, at least a dozen media companies have shown significant
interest in providing content for Snapchat Discovery, the Journal said.
