Everywhere, EE which is UK-based digital communications company faced problem
yesterday with users experiencing issues accessing data and sending MMS
messages due to a fault at one of EE’s data centers.
According to a spokesperson
for EE, “EE has 27 million customers on its network, using an increasing amount
of data. As such, we have a number of data centers.
There was a minor issue in
one of these data centers yesterday, which had a minimal impact on a small
number of customers, as the majority of data was rerouted through another data
center. This was fixed within a couple of hours.”
