US President Obama Issued New Cyber Sanctions Programme




Mr. Obama, president of United States, creates a new cyber sanction programs, allowing government to sanction foreign hackers. According to Digital Marketing Agency, this new law will pave the way for US Treasury to target those attempting cyber attacks on US assets and infrastructure.
A statement released by the white house mention that this law also give the authority of  US Treasury Secretary in accordance with Attorney General and Secretary of State to sanction individuals or entities that provoke a cyber-threat to the national security, foreign policy, or economic health or financial stability of the United States.
 “Cyber-threats are "one of the most serious economic and national security challenges" that the US faces, “said Mr. Obama.
