(Digital
Marketing Agency) – Three
tech giants Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube are temporary banned from Turkey
after distributing images of a Turkish prosecutor murdered by leftist militants during a hostage
standoff last week.
The sites were inaccessible for many users in
Turkey, with the Hurriyet newspaper saying that service providers got an order
from prosecutors to block Twitter, Facebook and YouTube along with other 163 websites
who published the images, BGR reports.
Last
month, Turkish parliament authorized decree that the government could order
an immediate blockage of website without prior judicial authorization
which resulted in outrage both at home and abroad.
