Microsoft Browsers’ Latest Update Sacks “Do Not Track” From Default Setting

(Digital Marketing Agency) – Following the release of the Spartan browser and a new version of Internet Explorer, computing powerhouse Microsoft has confirmed the removal of “Do Not Track” from the browsers’ default settings.
Microsoft Chief Privacy Officer Brendon Lynch said that the decision was taken in order to abide by the latest draft of the official W3C standard for “Do Not Track,” which stated clearly that the signal must represent the user’s preference and not the choice of some vendor or institution outside the user’s control, reported Tech Crunch.
This third-party tracking preventer was used by Microsoft in Internet Explorer 10’s default setting.
