Korean electronic head Samsung has finally and officially kicked off its latest
and most popular flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6 which is confirmed to be a
far-end heir to its previous predecessors with a new design that starts from
scratch.
For the first time,
Samsung has used glass and metal for the cover of its smartphone. Made from
glass covered with Gorilla Glass 4, the rear is scratch-resistant and
shatter-proof with a 16-megapixel camera and a protruding 6.8mm thin chassis. Samsung
has also dismissed the previous water-proof feature in Galaxy S5 along with the
removal of the battery cover and microSD card slot.
For a brief specs,
the Galaxy S6 sports a QHD (2K) Super AMOLED display, a quad-core 1.5GHz
Cortex-A53 and a quad-core 2.1GHz Cortex A-57, and finally 3GB RAM, making the
device faster and used power lesser than S5 up to 20 and 35 percent respectively.
None-expandable storage memory options are 32GB, 64GB and the 128GB.
