– The six-second video sharing app Vine, picked up by Twitter in October 2012,
has recently launched a kid-friendly platform called Vinekids.
According to CNN, the
kid-targeted app is a standalone version of Vine to filter out inappropriate
posts for its tiniest users.
Vinekids is similar to
its predecessor, however, with the use of animated characters and delectable
animals to attract children.
They can swipe left or
right for new vetted videos and tap the screen for fun sound effects, as
mentioned by Vine’s head of communication and marketing, Carolyn Penner.
The app is currently
downloadable via iOS devices.
