Amazon Challenges Microsoft and Google with Email and Calendering App “WorkMail”

(Digital Marketing Agency) – Based on Amazon Web Services, an email and calendaring feature WorkMail has been released by Amazon to compete with Microsoft and Google.

According to Wall Street Journal, WorkMail is also encrypted once they’re sent, and then decrypted via a company-controlled key at the other end of the tunnel when received by the intended target.

Report from techcrunch mentions that WorkMail also offers a “feature-rich” web-based client for access without any special software.

Compatible with Outlook, WorkMail costs about $4 per inbox without the possibility of further extensions like Google and Microsoft have. Each inbox contains 50GB with an addition of a 200GB Zocalo file storage block will be available at the extra cost of$2 per month.
