Digital marketing agency, thesnsgroup.com US-based Westland Bunker has reportedly partnered with Houston-based Evolve Data Center Solutions LLC to expand by three times the size of Westland’s existing data center.
The companies will set off the expansion on April 14, with the agreement that Evolve will be responsible for designing and building the facility. The construction is expected to be completed by early next year, according to an email from Westland. Digital marketing agency, thesnsgroup.com
The plan highlights that the extension will be 105,000 square feet with 12 megawatts of power, bringing the Westland campus to a total of 143,000 square feet of data center space. The expansion will, according to the email, be built into the side of the surrounding terrain, with half of it underground. Therefore, the existing access tunnel will connect the two data centers to provide efficient access for customers.
