Sony Hiring Incident Response Company Mandiant after Cyber Attack

Bing and Yahoo Follow Google, Complying with Right to Be Forgotten Rules

According to the latest figures from Net Applications, Bing and Yahoo accounted for just more than 12 percent of searches in October between them, while Google had 67 percent. Nevertheless, all EU-based search engines are obliged to comply with the law.

Uber Ridesharing Service Suspended in Nevada after Legal Setback



(Digital Marketing Agency, thesnsgroup.com)- San Francisco-based Uber, a ridesharing company which allows passengers to summon cars using apps on their smartphones rather than calling a taxi firm, has recently suspended its service in America’s Nevada in a setback that would reportedly cost nearly 1,000 jobs.

In spite of its popularity, Uber faces stiff opposition from taxi companies and some officials who argue the upstarts do not face the same stringent regulations as do traditional cabs, and insurance companies want their drivers to carry more expensive insurance policies.

"It's unfortunate that Nevada is the first state in the nation to temporarily suspend Uber," spokeswoman Eva Behrend said in a statement, adding the shut-down would cost nearly 1,000 jobs.

"We remain committed to working with Nevada's leaders to create a permanent regulatory framework that affords Nevadans the flexibility and innovation offered by Uber."

CloudFlare to make 12 Points-of-Presence expansion in China

TechCrunch says the US Company expects to complete the move in just six months with the new service expected to help customers improve the performance of their websites, as they venture beyond the ‘Great Firewall of China’.

CloudFlare’s network sits between the website visitor and the customer’s hosting provider and is able to improve availability for a website or application, decrease page loading times and protect against several types of cyber attacks.

According to CEO Matthew Prince, the company has been trying to break into Chinese market for the past three years, but its efforts were hampered by the complexities of the local regulatory system. China is already the company’s second largest market after the US, based on traffic and customers.
