eBay Affected by Google Manual Penalty

Well-known Digital Marketing Agency, thesnsgroup.com highlighted eBay is now faced with a big problem with its dropping in Google’s search result. According to Search Engine Land, Google hit eBay with a manual penalty this week. The penalty occurs when Google’s staffs reviews a site and thinks of it as not a good one.

Following Panda 4.0 announcement, not only Moz but also RefuGeeks were also hit with the latter site revealing that eBay had lost visibility on keywords that began with www.ebay.com/bhp in the URL. However, it is now known if the combination of Panda and manual penalty does hit eBay. Google denied commenting on eBay’s situation.
