Users unhappy with Facebook’s new strategy

Mobile users has expressed displeasures of using two apps instead of one. “Why create two apps to do the work of one app and website that has remained unchanged for years? Bigger is not always better,” said one user in his post on the Apple store.
Facing with negative reviews from users, the online network giant explained its reason: “Our goal is to focus development efforts on making messenger the best mobile messaging experience possible and avoid the confusion of having separate Facebook mobile messaging experiences.”

Following the news, the Messenger app has one-star reviews from approximately 50,000 users on online app stores. This indicates the disapproval of users towards the famous social networking messaging app.

Ten Million Plus Sony’s PlayStation 4 Consoles Sold in Less Than a year

In April, the Japanese company said it had sold over 7 million PlayStation 4 units as of April 6 and was struggling to keep up with consumer demand.

Google said “anyone selling a used gadget should follow several steps to protect information.”
“If you sell or dispose of your device, we recommend you enable encryption on your device and apply a factory reset beforehand,” said a spokesman.


EE faces a minor issue due to a fault at one of its data center

According to a spokesperson for EE, “EE has 27 million customers on its network, using an increasing amount of data. As such, we have a number of data centers. 

There was a minor issue in one of these data centers yesterday, which had a minimal impact on a small number of customers, as the majority of data was rerouted through another data center. This was fixed within a couple of hours.”

Smart Chip Maker Gemalto to Splash out £529 Million on SafeNet Data Protection

In accord with the agreement, SafeNet will provide protection solutions including encryption technologies and authentication systems as high-profile data breaches are growing in number.
"At first glance, it looks a sensible deal," said brokerage Mirabaud Securities welcoming the Gemalto-SafeNet deal.
"We hope this acquisition can reignite interest in the company and its leadership position in digital security."
